Holidays at Greensgrow

We will be at Greensgrow Farm on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00am to 4:00 pm for their annual Hollidays at Greensgrow event.

Shop local, support local artists! Looking for local, handmade gift ideas from some of the neighborhood’s most talented makers and artists? Make a dent in your Christmas shopping at Greensgrow Farms! Get your tree or holiday greens and check out all of the cool wares the elves have made. We’ll have a range of crafts and gifts; jewelry, ceramics, wood working, accessories, green gifts, bath/body, Greensgrow made edible and growing gifts, and lots more. There are different artists each day of the event.

The farm will be bursting with evergreen swags, holiday trees, and more for your winter décor. Our Pennsylvania grow trees range in size from tabletop to tall. We have great gift items like rosemary bushes, dwarf Alberta Spruce, mini-evergreens, and winter flowering plants like cyclamens, amaryllis, Christmas cactus and paperwhite bulbs.

Material Mugs III: Underglaze

Now in its third year, Material Mugs (Irons in the Fire 2016, Conductivity 2017) has become one of the most anticipated juried exhibitions by makers and collectors alike.

Material Mugs III: UNDERGLAZE is a survey of contemporary drinking vessels which employ any and every use of underglaze possible. The exhibition is open to every type of clay, temperature, and atmosphere. Our hope is to present a comprehensive collection of the full spectrum and potential of underglazes.

This year, juror Renee LoPresti (Ceramics Monthly Emerging Artist 2017) will be looking for innovative approaches to underglaze decoration on handmade ceramic cups and mugs.

We will be printing a full color catalog, hosting an opening gallery reception, and the entire exhibition will be available for sale online.
